As soon as the scanning is done that system will notify the doctor about patient arrival, will let the front desk know if forms need to be electronically signed, financial status of the patient, so appropriate action can be taken. If our mobile app is installed on patient mobile device, then the app will replace the RFID card and the mobile device will be used instead of the badge to scan in. One advantage of having the mobile app installed is that you will have access to your portal directly from your phone, not only from the internet.
